BHRI Researchers Featured on NPR’s Academic Minute

Five Kent State University Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI) faculty were recently featured on National Public Radio’s The Academic Minute radio program.  The Academic Minute is a two-and-a-half-minute daily module which features researchers from colleges and universities around the world, keeping listeners abreast of what’s new and exciting in the academy.  During the week of April 19-23, 2021, different BHRI researchers were featured each day, sharing updates on groundbreaking neuroscience research and its impact on the world.

The BHRI is committed to improving our understanding of brain function in health, disease and repair. We are thrilled to partner with WAMC and The Academic Minute to share these vital discoveries with the world.” Dr. Mike Lehman, Director, BHRI

The program airs on 70 stations around the United States and Canada.  The show can be found on WAMC each weekday at 7:30 a.m. and 3:56 p.m. For more information and to listen to the radio spots featuring BHRI faculty:
