Louise Valentine Hosts Virtual Conversation with Diane von Furstenberg for Hudson Library

School of Fashion director Louise Valentine, Ph.D. will host a virtual conversation with fashion designer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Diane von Furstenberg, author of Own It: The Secret to Life for the Hudson Library and Historical Society on March 16 at 7 p.m. 

The event will be livestreamed and is the next installment in the Hudson Library and Historical Society's 2022 Virtual Author Series.

About Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg began her fashion career in 1970. In a 1976 cover story, Newsweek declared her 'the most remarkable woman since Coco Chanel.' Her global brand is now available in more than 70 countries worldwide. An active philanthropist, she was president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America from 2006-2019. A champion of women her entire life, she has supported and empowered emerging women leaders across the globe. In 2019, she was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame, honored for her leadership and achievements which have changed the course of history.  Her other books include Diane: A Signature Life and The Woman I Wanted to Be.

How to Attend the Virtual Event

The event is entirely virtual and registration is required. Participants will receive an email invitation to attend the program, hosted on Zoom, a day before the program begins.
