This summer, come to Kent State University’s School of Fashion to learn about digital knitting!
We will host a Digital Knitting Workshop from August 1-12, 2022. (Please note, this workshop was originally scheduled for June 2022.)
You will receive hands on experience utilizing M1 Plus Programming to create amazing work on our Stoll Knitting Machines.

what to expect
We offer 2 one-week workshops with the first week at basic level allowing for the creation of knit swatches and an introduction to the specifics of knit programming. The second week will be intermediate and allow you to create programs using color arrangements and trouble shoot issues on the program and on the machine. The studio and machines will be available to you for 6 days per workshop in which time you will be able to expand your knowledge of the many applications of knitting and the types of jobs available to digital knitters.
