Biography
After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from BGSU, I taught preschool and kindergarten and then served as a director for a child care center in the Cleveland area. I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and my doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Kent State. I currently teach for the Early Childhood Program in the areas of preschool education, mathematics, and science. I also work at the Child Development Center on campus as the Coordinator for the Children's Program - Finances. I also participate in ongoing faculty research initiatives at the center. My research interest is in the area of teacher education and early mathematics and science teaching and learning.
