- Earning up to 38 semester hours of credit for coursework completed in an accredited radiologic technology associate degree program or 32 semester hours of credit from a hospital based certificate program

A bachelor’s degree is earned after successful completion of 120 semester hours of lower and upper division course work. The Bachelor of Radiologic and Imaging Sciences Technology degree in CT and/or MRI online degree program also prepares qualified graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills for roles in management, research, sales, teaching and more.
PROGRAM ADMISSION
- Interested students can apply to Kent State University online through the regular admissions process at www.kent.edu. Students must first be admitted to Kent State University before being accepted into the CT or MRI program.

Computed Tomography
Students must graduate from an associate degree program or hospital-based certificate program in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy. Students must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT or NMTCB) before pursuing the bachelor’s degree. Radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, or radiation therapists may take the CT courses without pursuing the bachelor degree.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Students must graduate from an associate degree program or hospital-based certificate program in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy. Students must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT or NMTCB) before pursuing the bachelor’s degree. Radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, or radiation therapists may take the MRI courses without pursuing the bachelor degree.
