Alyssa Robinson, M.Ed. '16
Alyssa Robinson currently serves as the director of philanthropy for the College of Education, Health & Human Services in the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, Alyssa’s primary responsibility is to further develop strategic relationships and engagement opportunities with current and potential philanthropic partners in support of Kent State University and the College of Education, Health and Human Services mission and vision.
Alyssa began working at Kent State University in 2016 as the assistant director in the Office of International Programs and Education Abroad in the College of Arts and Sciences. She continued her career serving the College of Aeronautics and Engineering as the director of strategic communications and external engagement. She is a 2x alum of Kent State, having earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies and her Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Personnel. She is also currently a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Administration program.
Alyssa’s favorite thing about Kent State is "the world of opportunity that the university works so hard to provide to students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community. The wide variety of opportunities could not be possible without university leadership, philanthropic partnership and the support from faculty and staff. It is because of this trifecta that our students’ futures are forever brighter!"
