Chip Whipple

Chip Whipple currently serves as assistant director, communications and annual giving for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, he assists with annual giving appeals to alumni and donors. He also serves as the project manager for alumni/donor communications for University Libraries, Honors College, College of Nursing, College of Public Health and College of Podiatric Medicine.

Chip began working at Kent State University in April 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in sport communication and journalism, as well as a Master of Education in sport education, both from Ashland University.
