Dave Smith

Dave Smith currently serves as director of Philanthropy for the Trumbull Campus. In this role, Dave serves as the chief fundraiser for the Trumbull Campus, connecting prospective donors to Kent State University in ways that are most meaningful to them.

Dave began working at Kent State in November 2011, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech.

Dave’s favorite thing about Kent State is that he enjoys the energy of working for a major university. He finds it fulfilling to see the impact that philanthropy has on the university, our students and the donors that make that impact possible.
