Julie Vandegrift, '18

Julie Vandegrift currently serves as senior research specialist for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, Julie conducts comprehensive research on potential donors to the university, including in-depth industry analysis and relationship mapping.

Julie began working for Kent State University in November 2014, and holds an Associate Degree in Business Management Technology from The University of Akron, as well as a Bachelor of Integrative Studies from Kent State.

Julie’s favorite thing about Kent State is that she loves working with a team that feels like a family. Also, she feels there are countless, wonderful opportunities here to for employees to be involved in outside of their professional role; these opportunities allow employees to really connect with colleagues, students and the community as a whole.
