Kat Abel

Kat Abel currently serves as executive director, data intelligence and technology within the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, Kat oversees Data Stewardship and Information Systems for the division. She also serves as the primary liaison for the division's systems security and data management. Kat strives to implement innovative programs, foster a data-driven culture and deliver strategic advantages to our fundraising team. Kat leads cross-functional collaborative teams for division projects and initiatives where information, processes and systems play a significant role.

Kat began working for Kent State University in August 2008, and is a graduate of Bohecker’s Business College in Ravenna, Ohio.

Kat’s favorite thing about Kent State is the campus and our students.
