Gary C. Goldberg

Biography


Gary C. Goldberg is the Assistant Vice President for Student Engagement and Services. Gary came to Kent State from the University of Washington where he served as the Director, UW Dining.  He has also held positions at the University Akron, Purdue University, Nova Southeastern University among others.  With more than 28 years of professional experience, Gary is well suited to lead the Student Engagement and Services area.  He has managed budgets in excess of $ 50 million, led capital projects for dining and student union facilities, and served as a liaison for numerous institutional strategic partnerships.  In the assistant vice president role, Gary provides leadership to:  University Housing, University Culinary Services, FLASHCard Operations, Kent Student Center and Involvement, and University Bookstores.

Gary received his Master of Science degree in Hotel and Foodservice Management from  Florida International University and Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Resort/Tourism Administration form Southern New Hampshire University.
