ADMISSION: The event is free and open to the public.
The Kent Green Energy Ohio Tour will take place Sunday, Oct. 1, from 1-4 p.m. at multiple locations at Kent State University and in the city of Kent. This free, self-guided tour features green technologies, such as solar, green design, energy efficiency and green buildings.
Kent Green Energy Ohio Tour sites at Kent State include the solar array at the Field House, the Center for Architecture and Environmental Design, the Center for Architecture and Environmental Design’s USB Charging Pavilion and a university zero-emission vehicle. Sites in the city of Kent include Kent Cooperative Housing’s Franklin House with solar panels, the Bruder residence with solar panels and Standing Rock Cultural Arts Center Gallery with solar panels and solar battery generator.
