STAFF COUNCIL MAKES BLANKETS FOR CHARITY; Kent State Today; November 22, 2022

Members of the Kent State University Staff Council (KSU-SC) gathered on Nov. 14, 2022, to make blankets for The Haven of Portage County. The Kent State University Staff Council provides a platform for classified and unclassified staff to share ideas and information, and communicate on issues and topics that affect staff and the broader university community. Staff Council efforts are purposefully geared towards providing greater visibility for staff, engendering a more understanding and caring work environment and a sense of community among staff, students, faculty and senior administrators.

If you are interested in organizing a volunteer event, contact Maggie Allphin, graduate assistant for Community Engaged Learning. To learn more about the Staff Council, visit the KSU-SC webpage.
