The Kent State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recognized several students enrolled in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering this past Sunday, April 28 at the annual Judith K. Devine Athletic Academic Honor’s Dinner. Students were rewarded for their scholastic achievement as well as their leadership skills.
The College of Aeronautics and Engineering is thrilled to share that Dr. Hossein Mirinejad has been awarded the Healthy Communities Research Institute (HCRI) Faculty Fellowship for the 2024-2025 academic year at Kent State University.
Hossein Mirinejad, Ph.D., assistant professor in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering at Kent State University was recently awarded a National Science Foundation CAREER award for his innovative research, “CAREER: Towards Safe and Interpretable Autonomy in Healthcare.”
