Leading the way
As I continue my basketball journey, my goals for this season are to win the MAC tournament and make it to the NCAAs.
But beyond that, I want to be a leader for my team.
We lost a lot of seniors last year, and I want to step up and be the voice they need on and off the court.
For the duration of my career, I've had great leaders to look up to, and now it's my turn to pass it on.
Looking ahead to life after Kent State, I want to become a Division I basketball coach.
It's something I've always known I wanted to do.
I love the game, and I want to stay involved in it.
While I'm not sure what specific job I would want outside of coaching, I know that whatever I choose, I want it to be something I enjoy and make the most of the opportunities my college education has provided me.
As I reflect on my basketball journey, both my family at home and my Kent State family have been the driving force behind my achievements.
Their unconditional support and presence at every game have not only motivated me but also defined the essence of my success.
I recognize that without them, I wouldn't be where I am today, and as I further pursue my dreams, I am confident that they will continue to be my steadfast companions every step of the way.
