Sheri Meacham

Sheri Meacham has experience in Accounting and Business Process Improvement. Prior to joining Kent State University in 2021, She worked for Airgas, first as the Billing and Data Integrity Manager and then as a Business Excellence Analyst. During the past 25 years, Sheri also held Accounting positions with Sea World of Ohio, Revco, JoAnn Fabrics and Bekaert Corporation. Sheri has over 20 years of experience using the ERP system SAP and has been a superuser of this system for several employers. Her training and experience with process improvement methodologies include Lean, TQM, Kaizen, DMAIC and Six Sigma in which she facilitated Corporate Six Sigma white belt training. She received an MBA and a bachelor’s in Accounting from Western Governors University. Sheri is also a member of the local charter of PMI (Project Management Institute) and holds a CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) certification. Sheri’s current role at Kent State University is the University Communication and Marketing Senior Business Manager where she is responsible for developing and managing the business, financial and human resources operations at UCM.
