Todd R. Snider
Biography
Todd Snider joined University Communications and Marketing (UCM) in the fall of 2018 as assistant vice president of marketing strategy. In this role, Mr. Snider leads UCM’s strategy team in the development and implementation of key marketing initiatives throughout Kent State University. His approach is to first understand the journey that students, parents, alumni, donors and other stakeholders take in their unique role and relationship with the university. He then guides the development of relevant and effective communications designed to help these stakeholders take action.
Prior to joining Kent State, Mr. Snider served as vice president, account director for Geometry Global, one of the largest activation advertising and marketing firms in the world. There, he led strategy and account leadership for some of the agency's largest clients, including John Deere, Sherwin-Williams, Continental AG, Goodyear, Shell and ExxonMobil.
Mr. Snider received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. He currently serves on the board for the Center for Applied Drama and Autism in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Snider resides in Munroe Falls, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
