A Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Robert Wick (1935-2022)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Wick, co-founder, benefactor, and beloved friend of the Wick Poetry Center. Bob and his brother Walter established the Center 37 years ago in the memory of their sons, Stan and Tom, with the loving mission to support young poets.

With luminous wisdom and selfless generosity, Bob impacted the lives of so many people in communities around the world.

Please join us in celebrating his tremendous life and legacy. With extraordinary gratitude and heartfelt love, we wish the entire Wick family sincere condolences.

The Wick family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wick Poetry Center in his loving memory:
