Pacifique Niyonzima
Biography
Pacifique is an international student from Rwanda. Pacifique graduated from Walsh University with Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Professional Education. While he was at Walsh University, he served as a Resident Assistant and Campus ambassador for 3 years. Pacifique joined Kent State University in 2017 as a graduate student in Higher Education Administration with concentration in internationalization. He worked at Kent State as a graduate assistant in the department of Residence Services, Office of Vice President for Student Affairs. Pacifique is currently at the Women’s Center as a Graduate Assistant. Pacifique is currently pursuing his studies in the Cultural Foundations doctoral program at Kent State University.
After obtaining his doctoral degree, Pacifique would like to establish a center in Rwanda to facilitate programs such as study broad abroad exchange programs, research collaboration, joint programs and internships. When not at work, Pacifique enjoys taking the US students to Rwanda for education abroad and building sister city relationships between US and communities in Rwanda.
