Scholarships
There are currently 2 main scholarship opportunities offered through Detachment 630:
- High School Scholarship Program (HSSP)
- Cadets must apply for this scholarship during the beginning of their senior year in high school
- This scholarship is not available in college
- Charles McGee Leadership Award (CMLA)
- Qualified cadets are automatically offered this scholarship
- This scholarship is only available upon completion of Field Training
Separate room, board, and book scholarships may be available for cadets in good standing and with high GPAs.
These scholarships are often given out to cadets after their first semester in the program.
Additional scholarship opportunities may be available to cross-town cadets, according to each university's cross-town agreement with Kent State University
