Scholarships
There are currently 3 scholarship opportunities offered through Detachment 630:
- High School Scholarship Program (HSSP)
- Cadets must apply for this scholarship during the beginning of their senior year in high school
- This scholarship is not available once you have graduated from high school
- Det 630 is NOT involved in the selection process for HSSP. It must be completed via the process listed in the link above
- Charles McGee Leadership Award (CMLA)
- Qualified cadets could be offered this scholarship in their junior/senior years
- This scholarship is only available upon completion of Field Training
- In-college Scholarship Program (ICSP)
- Qualified cadets could be offered this scholarship as early as their second year in the program
- This scholarship is only available to cadets who have been active in the program for at least one term
All cadets who graduate field training will receive a pro-rated, monthly stipend during all months in which they are active in the program. This varies from $300 for freshmen up to $500 for seniors, and a semi-annual $450 book stipend
Additional scholarship opportunities may be available to cross-town cadets, according to each university's cross-town agreement with Kent State University
