TWO KENT STATE PROGRAMS RECOGNIZED IN U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT’S 2020 BEST ONLINE PROGRAMS RANKINGS

U.S. News & World Report has named two Kent State University programs as U.S. News Best Online Programs for 2020. Kent State is recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs and Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings. U.S. News released its 2020 Best Online Programs rankings Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Kent State’s Online MBA program, offered by the College of Business Administration, advanced to the top ranked program in northern Ohio on the 2020 Best Online MBA Programs list. In addition, the Online MBA is ranked among the top 100 public programs in the nation in the 2020 rankings.

This is the second year Kent State’s Online MBA, which launched in fall 2017, has been ranked by U.S. News.

The Online MBA program at Kent State provides students access to world-renowned faculty and strategically designed courses in a flexible format.

“The college’s dedicated team of expert faculty have created engaging, collaborative and accessible courses supported by a dedicated team of instructional designers,” said Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., dean of Kent State’s College of Business Administration. “The majority of our core MBA courses are Quality Matters certified, meaning they meet rigorous standards of quality, and the remaining core courses are expected to be Quality Matters certified prior to the Fall 2020 Semester.”

Kent State’s online graduate education programs have again been recognized as the highest ranked at a public university in Northeast Ohio by U.S. News on its 2020 Best Online Graduate Education Programs list. This list compiles the rankings of online programs offering master’s degrees in education.

This is the third year Kent State’s online graduate education programs have been ranked by U.S. News.

Kent State’s College of Education, Health and Human Services offers online master’s degrees in education in four program areas: Educational PsychologyEducational TechnologyEvaluation and Measurement, and Special Education.

For the 2020 edition, U.S. News ranked online MBA programs and online master’s education programs using five categories: engagement, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and student services and technologies.
