Scott Miller
Biography
Scott Miller joined the faculty of Kent State University in 2023 after previously teaching as an adjunct from 2019-2021. He has also taught at Heidelberg University. His professional experience includes roles in public accounting, corporate governance, and internal auditing. He is a past president and current board member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He holds the following active licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Mr. Miller teaches Managerial Accounting for undergraduates and MBAs. He received the 2021 Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year award at Kent State University and the 2023 Faculty Member of the Year award at Heidelberg University.
