Kalatai Alberti, ’22, enrolled in the American Academy (AA) in Brazil when it launched in 2018. AA is a dual-enrollment program offered jointly at Kent State University and the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUCPR), located in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil.

Alberto traveled to Xi’an, China, in 2019 and spent a month studying Business Administration and Cross-Cultural Communication. “I learned so much during this trip, especially about Chinese culture and about the way Chinese people do business,” he said.
