CCP Apply
After high school graduation, CCP students must submit a new application to enroll as traditional college students. The CCP Direct Admissions Program makes this process simple.
The CCP Direct Admissions Program gives students a fast and free way to continue at Kent State. Students can be eligible for the program with:
3 credit hours completed through CCP and Kent State
A 3.0 cumulative high school GPA, or
A 2.75 cumulative Kent State GPA
A good academic standing

After completing the application, it may be submitted at no cost.
Other ways to apply
Direct Admission helps students smoothly transition to traditional enrollment, but it is not required. Students may also apply with:
The Kent State Application – available at all campuses
The Common App – available at the Kent Campus
*CCP students who do not meet the Direct Admission requirements may still submit a First-Year Students application.
