Kent State Student Media (Flashlab)

Kent State Student Media constitutes 10 student-run media partners that deliver news, information, entertainment, services, and advertising to the Kent State and City of Kent communities. Our student-led teams create content across more than 30 digital, print, social, and broadcast platforms. We also run the Student Media Flashlab, which is an innovation initiative seeking fresh ideas, big and small, to propel Student Media into an exciting future based around innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. Two manifestations of FlashLab include our SM FlashLab Innovation Pitch Contest (open to all students) and our FlashLab Innovation Grants, which are open to our media partners.
