Biography

Ms. Kat Lindsey serves as Executive Director of the DeWeese Health Center.  In this role, she partners with administrative leaders, university departments, and community organizations to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the highest standard of health services on campus.

Prior to joining Kent State, Kat spent two decades at the University of Florida’s Student Health Care Center, where she played a key role in financial management, health information technology, and operational efficiencies. She has also contributed to higher education as an adjunct professor at Santa Fe College, developing coursework for health information technology programs.

Kat holds a Master of Science in Health Administration Informatics, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Communications and is an active member of the American College Health Association, contributing to industry best practices and policy development.

Kat is dedicated to advancing student health services through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and innovative technology solutions.
