The DeWeese Health Center Pharmacy fills and refills prescriptions for patients and provides common over-the-counter medications.

Filling a Prescription
  • Have your healthcare provider call your prescription in to the DeWeese Health Center Pharmacy so it can be filled and ready when you arrive.
  • At this time, we can only process prescriptions for Caremark and the UnitedHealthcare Student Resources health insurance plan. Please remember to bring your insurance card with you to the pharmacy.
  • Prescriptions are offered at an affordable cash price. Please ask the pharmacist for a price quote before the prescription is filled.
  • To transfer a prescription from another pharmacy in the U.S., call or visit the DeWeese Health Center Pharmacy with the original packaging that contained your medication.
  • Patients treated at the DeWeese Health Center and prescribed medication are not required to use the DeWeese pharmacy.
Paying for Prescriptions
  • We accept payments through Visa, Mastercard or Discover, or we can bill your student account. 
  • Save your prescription paperwork from the pharmacist so you can submit it to your prescription insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Refilling Prescriptions

You can request refills for prescriptions filled at the DeWeese Health Center Pharmacy by phone or in person. Please be prepared to provide the following information over the phone, when leaving a message or in person:

  • Your name.
  • Your date of birth.
  • Phone number.
  • Prescription number. 
  • Name of the medication.
Stimulant Medications
  • DeWeese Health Center Pharmacy does not stock any stimulant medications that are controlled.
  • Prescriptions for stimulant medications, whether prescribed by one of our physicians or your home physician, can be filled at any local pharmacy. 
  • If you take stimulant medications, please keep them secure to avoid potential misuse by others.
