Courses of Study

The Early Childhood Education program offers a number of degree options on the Kent campus, as well as on several regional campuses:

• Early Childhood Education Technology (Salem & Tuscarawas campuses only)
• Early Childhood Education - B.S.E. (Kent, Salem & Tuscarawas campuses)
• Early Childhood Education - M.Ed.
• Early Childhood Education - M.A.T. (initial licensure)
• Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education

In addition, the program offers several additional licenses and endorsements for persons who already hold an active teaching certificate or license:

• Early Childhood Education (P-5) Additional Licensure Preparation (graduate)
• Early Childhood Education Pre-Kindergarten (3-5 years) Endorsement Preparation (graduate)
• Reading Endorsement - This endorsement may be included in a Master of Education program of study.
