Program Overview
This 30 credit-hour program includes a core of required courses, as well as the opportunity to choose a specialization area and some elective courses. Students who are interested in research in the field or considering moving on to earn a doctorate can choose to do a master’s thesis. To do so, you will form a committee of at least two faculty members to oversee the project, and plan, administer, and write up some original research. Students may also take up to 4 credits of workshops (ETEC 50093) that can be used as elective credit. The culminating event in this program is a practicum experience and the development of an online portfolio.
After admission, an official Program of Study must be completed and signed by your advisor, then submitted to the Office of Graduate Student Services before your third semester of taking coursework. This form will be checked against your course transcript before you can be cleared for graduation. Early in the final semester of your coursework, you must apply for graduation by completing the online graduation application available through FlashLine. For details about how and when to apply for graduation, see the EHHS Graduation Applications page.
