EHS Online Certificates
The online certificates, endorsements and licensures listed below represent a selection of offerings from the College of Education and Human Services.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Certificate
The Autism Spectrum Intervention Specialist Certification (ASISC) Program is designed for professionals who are involved in the education, assessment, and/or treatment of individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. It will provide the skills required to develop effective intervention programs, collaborate effectively on intervention teams, support individuals who are being served within a general education context, and address the needs of families.
Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BISC) Certificate
The Behavior Intervention Specialist Certificate (BISC) Program is a highly specialized sequence consisting of five courses and one practicum that instills the theoretical orientation and practical application of applied behavior analysis. Completion of the program meets the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst Examination.
Career-Based Intervention Program Endorsement
This Master's-level program provides endorsement to a teaching certificate/license. Instructors combine a web-based classroom with coordinating on-the-job experience. Courses are available online if enrollment permits. NOTE: Courses available online for Career Based Intervention are subject to enrollment requirements. Contact the CTTE program coordinator for further information or questions.
Community College Leadership Certificate
The Community College Leadership Certificate is designed to prepare and enhance the skills of administrators, staff, and faculty in community colleges and regional campuses to meet the leadership challenges posed by social, political, and economic changes. It is designed in alignment with the competencies for community college leaders established by the American Association of Community Colleges.
Computer Technology Endorsement
The Computer Technology Endorsement program is intended for teachers who plan to teach about computer applications in the classroom or who want to assume technology coordinator positions in a school or at the district level. This Endorsement can only be added to an existing teaching license and cannot be obtained independently as a separate licensure.
Online and Blended Learning Certificate
The certificate program in Online Learning and Teaching provides current and potential online educators with a strong foundation in how to design and teach online courses.
Reading Endorsement
The reading endorsement is a 'stamp of approval' to teach reading to students in grades PreK-12 in Ohio. The endorsement is granted by the Ohio Department of Education. It is applied to an existing teaching certificate/license. The courses in this endorsement can also be applied to a Master's degree in Reading.
