Four candidates for dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Services at Kent State University will be on campus over the next several weeks. Based on responses received from faculty, staff and students through a survey and town hall meetings, each candidate will hold a public presentation on the topic, “Leading a Complex College: Building Community, Enhancing Reputation and Securing Resources for the College of Education, Health and Human Services.”

Access to Lynda.com was made possible in fall 2016 through a partnership between the Division of Information Services, University Libraries and the Office of Continuing and Distance Education.
Project AWARE Kent will be offering free Mental Health First Aid courses to Kent State University faculty, staff and students. The eight-hour course offers evidence-based training that teaches people to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance-use disorders. Faculty and staff earn two hours of Beyond Compliance for completing the course. Students earn 1,500 FLASHperks.

The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
