Employees are encouraged to attend the Open Enrollment and Wellness Fairs held on all Kent State University campuses. Each fair will include information about 2019 healthcare plan offerings and information on how all full-time, benefits-eligible employees can earn up to $300 in wellness rewards by participating in a variety of healthy lifestyle activities.

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12. The Board is scheduled to convene at 2 p.m. in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of University Library.
Trustees will retire into executive session from 8-10 a.m. in the Urban Conference Room to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.”
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Monday, Sept. 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day.
University Health Services at Kent State University will hold a Mental Health Festival on Sept. 11 from 2-5 p.m. on Risman Plaza. Students will have an opportunity to interact and collect information on the mental health resources that Kent State offers. They can enjoy free refreshments and wellness-based activities such as Zumba and yoga.
University College and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host Kent State University's Diversity and Scholarship Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.

Online midterm grading for all fall 2018 lower-division undergraduate courses (levels 00000, 10000, 20000) meeting in the full term (Aug. 23, 2018, through Dec. 9, 2018) begins Sept. 13 via FlashFAST. Please remember that midterm grading applies ONLY to courses that meet for the full semester.

At Kent State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
Open Enrollment is from Oct. 16, through Nov. 3. Each year in the fall, benefits-eligible employees may select and make changes to their health coverage plans based on their needs and the needs of their family.
