JOB DESCRIPTION

A typical work day can include creating marketing materials for prospective students, undergraduates, graduate or Ph.D. programs. Also, materials that need done for college events, internal offices and institutional advancement go through me. There is rarely a time when I'm not dabbling with several departments at once.

LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE:

I first stepped onto the Kent campus way back in 2003. I fell in love with the campus and its surrounding. Before becoming employed with Kent State, working here is something I always to do. When I got the call for the interview, I couldn't refuse. I guess you can say what I love most about Kent State University is its atmosphere.

FAVORITE MEMORY WHILE AT KENT STATE:

One of the many great memories I have at Kent State University is when I had my first student worker. Not only did that student play a key role in our office, but he became a friend and design collaborator on outside projects.

ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE AS AN EMPLOYER:

It's not a joke when you see the words, "You Belong Here." Just as stepped on this university's soil in 2003, still to this day, almost twenty years later, do I still feel like I belong here. From the people I work with to the environment around me, that is my attraction.

RESIDES IN:

Ravenna, Ohio

HOMETOWN:

Cleveland, Ohio

EDUCATION:

Master of Science in IAKM (User Experience Design) Kent State University

HOBBIES:

I spent a lot of my free time illustrating athletes, entertainers and even comic books. Illustration is a passion of mine. I also enjoy traveling with my wife and son, going to concerts and attending sporting events. Fun fact: One of my biggest hobbies was that as a musician, where I played with several major acts over the years!
