Health Informatics, School of Information
I teach and do research in health informatics (HI) in the areas of usability and human factors in health information technology (health IT) and use of health IT in long term care. These areas help to make health IT easier to use in order to improve patient safety by preventing errors. The work also helps to improve care for older adults in long term care through using health IT.
