Deanna Stevens

I joined Kent State in January 2019 after working as a digital content editor at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, where I aided the development and implementation of the digital strategy for the newspaper. Along with the daily maintenance of the website, I managed social media accounts for Ohio.com and developed best practices for the newsroom's staff.

I'm an alumna of Northwestern University, earning a master’s degree in sports administration, and Kent State, earning a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.

Course Name:  GEOG 31080 Geography of Wine

Description: Learn about the physical environment of viticulture, including climate, soil and farm practices; the cultural tradition of wine making, consumption and trade; and regional production styles of Tuscany.

*This course has an additional course fee of $100 per student. Optional wine tastings are included in the course only for students who are 21 years or older.

Credit Hours: 3
