Electric scooters have become increasingly popular on Kent State University’s Kent Campus since the introduction of SPIN scooters in March 2022. Approximately 300 eScooters and 150 eBikes are available to rent. The College of Public Health is pleased to welcome two new members to our family: Freida Boland and Gretchen Thomas. Freida Boland serves as an administrative secretary. She retired from Kent State University in January 2020 with 30 years of service to various departments/colleges on campus. After retirement, Boland felt she needed a little more structure to her day and applied for a part time job in the College of Public Health.
