Kent State University was recently honored to host Great Lakes Regional Administrator, Erik Amend and Airports District Office Manager, John Mayfield, Jr., from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) for a tour of the Kent State Airport and Aeronautics and Engineering Building facilities. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an authorization for practical training to engage in temporary employment to gain practical experience directly related to their field of study. It is defined as an alternative work/study, internship, cooperative education or any other type of required internship or practicum that is offered by sponsoring employers through cooperative agreements with the school.
