Applying for Financial Aid & Graduate Assistantships

While applications for admission are accepted all year, Graduate Assistantship (GA) applications are only accepted once a year. Financial aid and admission are separate processes, and one must first be admitted before being considered for Graduate Assistantship (GA). Applications for graduate assistantships must be received before the deadline. If you are awarded an assistantship, you will be notified by mid-late April.

Internship Offer Letter

A student must obtain an internship offer from a company, an institution, an organization, or a governmental agency before enrolling in the Internship course. It is essential that the student's work be related to and complementary to his or her formal education. General Requirements

  • You must be in Good Academic Standing, with a GPA above 3.0 for graduate students
  • You must complete at least 18 hours of graduate coursework
  • You should not accept any offers for CPT unless you have approval from the Internship instructor an CPT coordinator in the department
