The 4th floor of University Library (aka the Fab Fourth) is a favorite among students, offering vending machines and a microwave in a relaxed, open atmosphere with lots of group seating, individual study carrels and six Media:scape Pods which allow students to simultaneously connect several laptops to a large-screen monitor for group projects and gaming activities. The floor is also home to the Writing Commons, a resource center that assists students in every stage of their writing assignments.
Located on Eastway Drive, DeWeese Health Center provides all eligible students, faculty and staff nonemergent outpatient care, including examination and treatment for illness and minor injuries, women's healthcare, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy services and health education. The DeWeese Health Center accepts all Kent State employee health plans and other major carriers. Self-pay rates are available for uninsured patients.
The Office of the Student Ombuds acts as an advocate for students and strives to develop a fair and equitable university community.
Student Legal Services is a nonprofit law firm brought to Kent State University by the Undergraduate Student Senate. The purpose of Student Legal Services is to help you understand and resolve the legal issues that you might face while you are a student.

LaunchNET is an innovative program that teaches students, faculty and alumni how to transform their ideas into thriving businesses. By connecting entrepreneurs with mentors, experts and resources, the program provides the advice, counsel and network necessary to get their ideas off the ground.

The FLASHcard is your Kent State University ID card and more. Your card will let you take materials out of the library, access services such as the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and athletic events, and purchase food on and off campus.
As members of the Kent State University community, students are expected to demonstrate responsible conduct. The Code of Student Conduct translates these expectations into specific policies and describes the process through which claims of violations are resolved.
