I am an undergraduate student at Kent State University participating in the Project NEXT Grant.  I have benefited from being a part of this grant through the services provided to me by my Interventionist.  For example, when I needed to set up a meeting with a professor, my interventionist assisted in preparing me for the meeting. 

Two Kent State University ROTC cadets pick out daffodil bulbs to plant as part of the university's annual Veterans Day Commemoration.

As part of Kent State University’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration, cadets from the university’s ROTC programs joined staff from University Facilities Management and other volunteers on the site of the May 4, 1970, tragedy to plant daffodil bulbs. As a living memorial, 58,175 daffodils were originally planted – one for each U.S. service member killed in Vietnam.
