Air Traffic and Airspace Management Roadmap

The Air Traffic and Airspace Management program prepares students for an airspace that will be busier than ever. This program readies students for careers in air traffic control, aircraft dispatch, advanced air mobility and urban air mobility planning. Our curriculum provides you with the knowledge and hands-on experience to navigate the skies and ensure the safety of air travel. With a mix of classroom instruction and simulations, you'll learn the critical thinking and decision-making skills required for success.

Aeronautical Studies Roadmap

The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies program prepares students for a successful career in the aviation industry. With a focus on practical training and hands-on experience, you'll gain the skills needed to succeed as a pilot, air traffic controller, aircraft mechanic or any other aviation-related role. Our state-of-the-art facilities and experienced faculty provide the perfect learning environment, while internships and co-op programs offer real-world experience.

Undergraduate students majoring in computer science, aerospace engineering, fashion design and neuroscience were among the fellows who presented the research they conducted while in the 9th annual Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) at Kent State University.On Oct. 21-22, the 178 students who conducted research under the direction of faculty mentors had to condense eight weeks of research down to three minutes and a slide.
