Below is a list of tips that can be useful in properly planning for your student organization to host an event. For all events taking place on campus, please make sure to reserve space through University Events and Conference Services

The School of Theatre and Dance faculty and alumni are collaborating on a new play, Piedmont Point. Written by alumnus Scott Miesse (’15), Piedmont Point centers around a retirement complex in southern Florida. The play is set to premiere on August 25, 2023 to a sold-out crowd at Theatre Row, an Off-Broadway playhouse in NYC. Additional performances will be on August 26 at 8 p.m. and August 27 at 2 p.m. In addition to Miesse, the show features other Kent State faculty and alumni.
