Kent State University held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration in person at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Risman Plaza on the Kent Campus. The School of Fashion congratulates senior B.A. Fashion Design major Dalimar Solis Ortiz who was recently selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as a finalist in the Re:Generation Innovation Scholar Award competition, sponsored by Swarovski Foundation. Solis Ortiz, a native of Puerto Rico, was also a finalist in the CFDA's Liz Claiborne Design Impactful Futures competition. My name is Christopher Richardson and I am currently the Chief Operating Officer for CHC Addiction Services Inc., based in Akron, Ohio. I graduated from the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Program in 2003. My experience in the program was very fulfilling. Before I started on the path of researching which program I wanted to explore, I had a lifelong goal of enhancing my competencies in substance abuse and mental health.
