Advertising majors Mikayla Bailey, Julia O’Laughlin and Madelyn Tomkos, and public relations major Morgan Cummings, earned the recognition for their work on a marketing/communications challenge for the headphones brand Bose. Although widely acknowledged that greater diversity among nurses reduces health disparities and improves quality of care, the U.S. nursing workforce does not mirror the nation’s increasingly diverse population.
