More than 100 attendees participated in Kent State University’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering’s (CAE) Girls in Aviation Day Saturday at the Kent State Airport. The global event is sponsored by Women in Aviation International (WAI) to introduce and encourage girls to pursue careers in aeronautics and aerospace. Glauser School of Music and Tuesday Musical, based in Akron, have launched a new series that will bring world-renowned classical musicians to the Kent Campus to work with students.
