This weekend the Wick Poetry Center will travel to Washington D.C. to participate in the March for Science. Partnering with poet and environmental spokesperson Jane Hirshfield, the Wick Poetry Center will host a series of workshops at the Teach-In on the National Mall and install an exhibit of twenty-three seven-foot banners of poems about science curated by Jane Hirshfield.

Kent State University junior Rachel Stypinski won the all-around title with a 39.500 to lead the Golden Flashes at the 2017 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Gymnastics Championships held March 18 at the Stroh Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. Kent State posted a 194.850 team score to finish sixth. Stypinski’s all-around score ties the program record at the conference championship meet that was set by Marie Case in 2014 and ranks sixth overall.
