Kent State University’s Honors Program provides students on all campuses opportunities to participate in learning experiences that are challenging and that provide enriching experiences in the students’ areas of interest. Kent State University has made an impressive climb up the Best National Universities list released today by U.S. News & World Report in its new 2018 edition of Best Colleges. Kent State rose 12 spots, once again earning a coveted position on the first-tier list that includes both public and private universities nationwide. These days, consumers can buy the latest clothing trends quickly and inexpensively. Critics, however, maintain that this “fast fashion” can be detrimental to the environment. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), 84 percent of unwanted clothes in the United States in 2012 went into either a landfill or an incinerator.
