Kent State University officials and donors to the Crawford Hall project officially break ground for the new building.

Kent State University officially broke ground on Crawford Hall, the future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8 in a ceremony attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests. Construction on this state-of-the-art building is expected to be completed in 2024. They don’t realize that food insecurity is a very real problem in Geauga County, even among college students. In order to combat this growing and troubling trend, Kent State University at Geauga is partnering with the Geauga Hunger Task Force (GHTF). Kent State University has partnered with SPIN to provide shared eBikes and eScooters on campus and within the City of Kent for use by students, faculty, staff, and the community. Approximately 100 eBikes and 100 eScooters will be available starting Monday, March 7.
