Paul Tazewell is the talk of Hollywood after winning an Academy Award for his costume design work for “Wicked.”Still, it was the talk Tazewell delivered to Kent State University students and others in 2017 that has the campus community still cheering for the Akron, Ohio, native, who became the first Black man to win an Oscar for costume design. Students who complete their housing application after May 1 will be assigned a room selection timeslot on a rolling basis starting June 3, 2026.
Students may continue to log in and view available rooms until June 21, 2026.
Students who do not participate in room selection will be assigned to a room by University Housing starting June 22, 2026.
