KENT, Ohio  – Area high school students learned about the benefits of a career in accounting while participating in the Kent State University High School Accounting Case Challenge on November 3. Hosted by the Kent State Department of Accounting, the event brought together 85 students from Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School, North Canton Hoover High School, Aurora High School and Tallmadge High School. Total Solar Eclipse

Kent State Spirit Day with the Pittsburgh Penguins

Join us for Kent State Spirit Day with the Pittsburgh Penguins to witness the electric atmosphere of a Penguins game with a distinctive Golden Flash flair. The day will include a pregame alumni gathering at the Cambria Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., complete with a delicious brunch. Alcohol is not included but will be available for purchase. Then at 1 p.m., watch the arena come alive as the Penguins aim for victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Are you ready for Kent State’s biggest eggs-travaganza? As students depart for spring break, we invite alumni back to campus for our second annual glow-in-the-dark egg hunt! When the sun dips below the horizon, the picturesque Front Campus will come alive with the soft, ethereal glow of thousands of hidden eggs waiting to be discovered. Everybunny will gather a dozen glowing eggs and discover if they’ve chosen any that contain a golden ticket to an amazing prize, all the while enjoying an adults-only dessert reception, featuring Kent State’s official craft beer.
